| The main purpose of Brian Dreadon's book is to determine whether or not William Sinclair of Dryden & Westhall (Westerhall) was the same person as William Dryden of Walton. His conclusion is that he was. ["The circumstantial evidence is vast and no viable alternative theory has ever been mounted. There is just the age old question of how much evidence constitutes "proof".] However, until we receive the 'go ahead' from him to show otherwise, we hold back from making that too definitive and from showing his wife (possibly 2 wives) on the Dryden page. | |||||||||||||||
