Charles Robinson (1876, 'Comber and Gratwick of Shermanbury', p191) shows William, who bought Shermanbury in 1542, fahtre of John of Shermanbury (d 1593) father of William of Shermanbury (d 1627) father of (only) Elizabeth who m.
