  A. Herbert Golafre
  B. ?? Golafre
  m. Matilda of Blakesley parva
Baker's pedigree (in vol 2) could easily be interpreted as showing Matilda as sister rather than sister-in-law of Herbert, married to _ Golafre.

  m. Juliana de Aquila (a 1197)

  a. Sir Roger Golafre of Blakesley, Sarsden & Norton (Northamptonshire) (a 1273)
Baker (vol 2) does not identify Roger's wife and shows only one child, John. Lipscomb shows John, a daughter, Maud, plus an elder unnamed son whose male line is said to have "terminated in John de Golafre, son of John, who occurs in 20 Ed.3.". Baker (vol 1) starts with Roger of Norton (a 1215) father of Roger (a 1252) father of Matilda & William who, by Amabilia (dau/heir of Hugh of Upper Heyford), was father of John father of John.
