The undermentioned Robert of Upton is identified in Commoners (vol 4, Bamford-Hesketh of Gwyrch Castle) as "A younger son of the Rossall family". BLG1886 (Bamford-Hesketh of Gwyrch Castle) merely reports that he was "Descended from the same family as Rufford and Rossall Heskeths". We presume to show the connection as of this generation but this is speculative. The following comes from Commoners, BLG1886 and Griffith's Pedigrees (Gwrych, p400).
