We follow MGH in showing her children as by her husband rather than by the Admiral who, though never named by MGH, was Sir Thomas Pye (## see here ##). This is because "According to law the children were legitimate." However, it is thought likely that they were in fact children of the Admiral although, if that was the case, her son Thomas's marriage to the Admiral's legitimate daughter Mary would have been incestuous. | |||||||||||||||
