  Visitation (Yorkshire, 1584/5+1612, Gascoigne of Lasingcroft) shows a Sir Hugh or John (only shown son (by Sibell) of Robert (brother of Richard) son of Adam son of John of Salesbury) whose dau/heir Mary m. Nicholas Gascoigne of Lasingcroft. Such a Hugh/John is not mentioned by Whitaker (or Lyons) so we suspect that the Visitation misidentified Mary.
