m1. Ann Calthorpe (dau of William Calthorpe of Bunham Thorpe)
The notes we took on Arthur Campling's book showed uncertainty on which of Sir Robert's children were by which wife. Initially, possibly misreading those notes, we showed the children as all by his 2nd wife, Ann Jernegan. However, as kindly pointed out by a contributor (PW, 04.11.06), this would mean that their daughter Bridget married her uncle, which is unlikely. Muskett shows all the children as by Ann Calthorpe.
