BP1934 (Hatherton) identifies John's wife Susannah as daughter of Sir Theophilus Biddulph, 1st Bart. BP1934 (Biddulph) shows her as Sir Theophilus's niece rather than daughter although the naming of their 2nd son after Theophilus, with a similar situation arising with one of Susannah's sisters, casts some doubt on this.
