(1) Mundy shows a coat of arms for 'Roe of Muswell Hill' that looks similar to that described for the Rowes of Kingston on Rowe02. A note provided by Lodge (referred to below) reports that there exists a pedigree which shows the descent of the Rowes of Shacklewell from Everard Rowe de Rokinge of Romney, Kent (a temp Henry III who r. 1216-1272) so it may yet be possible to find the connection.
(2) MGH (NS1, vol 4 (1884), p116), which shows the ancestry of Sir Thomas Rowe, Mayor of London, agrees with the connection shown below except to show the parents of Reginald Roe of Leigh as John Roe of Boxley & Katherine Palmer (## see here ##).
