  By showing their children connected by wavy rather than solid lines, Visitation, which identifies the above Elizabeth as "his only da. and heir", indicates that the following children were illegitimate, presumably born before their marriage. Visitation identifies their elder son as Richard of Woodrising, as do the Copley records, but BP1934 identifies him as Richard of Horsham St. Faiths (but then jumps to Sir Robert, the principal Secretary of State).
