Visitation (Cheshire, 1580, 'Needham of Shevinton & of Cranage'), which provides some support for a few generations, identifies her as Anne, dau of _ Manwaring of Baddeley. Lodge identifies her as Agnes, dau of John Manwaring of Baddeley.

BP1934 mentions Robert's 4 marriages but is not clear which wife was mother of Robert (the only child it mentions). Lodge (who suggests that Robert d 30.04.1627) mentions his marriages to Jane Lacy & Catherine Robinson, reporting that the 1st was sp and the children were Catherine's. Visitation shows the marriages to Joane Lacye & Anne Doyley, with Joane identified as mother of Robert, Frances & Elianor. TCP confirms that there were 4 marriages and shows Robert as of the 1st.
