John Thomas (Colonel)
1. William Thomas
Both BP1934 & Berry start with the undermentioned Sir George, BP1934 saying nothing about his ancestry but Berry reporting that he was "descended out of Monmouthshire". TCB reports that the above parentage was given by DBART1819 but notes that DBART1840 replaced it with "was descended from a Monmouthshire family". That Sir George's mother married twice is suggested by the fact that the mother of Margaret Sydserff, wife of the 2nd Bart, is described as half-sister of the 1st Bart.
